We have a Tentative Agreement As of Tuesday, May 20, 2008 we have a Tentative Agreement. There will be an information and ratification meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Voting will also take place at this time. Back to building Malibus. |

They're actually giving them a $1,250 bonus to sign.
Just ridiculous. Reward them for not working and costing the company millions in lost production. What a coincidence that the Fairfax strike settled right after American Axle. No, I'm sure there's no link at all. At Fairfax, one of the union spokesman actually said something about seniority and how GM wanted to be the only one who decided where someone would work. Gee, imagine that. An employer thinking that it has the right to tell workers that it's paying good wages to what job they should perform. Why would GM not build all of it's future products outside of the U.S?
