Shocking: claim that your car can run on water is false

What is shocking about this story is that it was on Coast to Coast AM. Usually, you would expect a story like "Car leaves Roswell, NM, does not refuel until New York City".

Coast to Coast AM tries out Water4Gas system

Quote:
The Coast to Coast Am late night radio talk show, hosted nowadays by George Noory, often lends a sympathetic ear to those with a bizarre tale to tell or folks making outlandish claims. After being deluged with calls and emails to the show asking about assertions made of increasing gas mileage using kits such as those sold by Water4gas, (they claim to break water down into HHO and burn it along with your gasoline) George decided to try a "real life" experiment to see if it actually worked. With his producer's car.

It took some time for the results to come in but last night, after an update on the latest in alien implants, producer Tom Danheiser came on the air to let the audience of millions hear the result. Before installing the device under the hood of his Mustang, Danheiser calculated his gas mileage to be 17.99 mpg. After driving around with the device for a week his mileage went down to 16.56 mpg. To add insult to HHO hoax injury, he had to have his car serviced. Twice. The bottom line can be summed up with a pair of truisms; there is no free lunch and the laws of physics just aren't made to be br

I'm so confused. If it was labelled a hoax on C2C AM, does that now mean that the Water4Gas is for real and works?

Re: Shocking: claim that your car can run on water is false

The rising fuel prices have provided an ample population of morons for the fraudsters to sell $97 water conversion kits to.

I'm also amazed at how many people see 'demonstrations' on YouTube and instantly believe that it must be true, and that the car companies are intentionally ignoring this simple energy source. Morons! These are the same people that believe the silly YouTube hoaxes of cell phones causing popcorn to pop.

Hey! Maybe we can power a reciprocating engine with popcorn and cell phones!

Why don't they just put an end to all these take offs and force the government to disclose those secret vehicles in area 51. You know the ones that run on water and get 500mpg

The Google ads at the top of this page are hilarious. Criminally unethical, too.

It is, once again, time to trot out Bob Lutz's quote, “If the technology were readily and easily available, what on earth would be our motive for withholding it?"

Re: Shocking: claim that your car can run on water is false

What they mean is that your car can "drive" on water - i.e. wet streets.

Re: Shocking: claim that your car can run on water is false

There IS a way to run your car on water... in 4 easy steps..
1. mix the water with sugar.
2. add yeast, wait for the bubbles to stop
3. distill fermented solution
4. Pour distillation into any cars tank.

the end product can be placed in any car and will offset your gasoline usage from 10-85% depending on vehicle.

and it's 100% natural, non toxic, and 100% renewable.
