Does the price of the Volt increase every time it is typed? It isn't $48K, it's possibly $40K - since it isn't for sale yet and it hasn't been officially announced, we don't really know we only have a Lutz-guess as to what it will 'be close to'. The Volt isn't going to be limited production, either. Are you confused or are you just being a sarcastic hater?

Hmmm, interesting. Anybodys guess on price, but certainly no profit.

Maybe he implying that 48k is what the Volt is going to cost GM to produce. Then they can sell every one at a loss.

I think the point is nobody knows what it will cost; it's all speculation. Everybody just needs to be patient.
