Re: Obama Plan: $7,000 Tax Credit for Chevy Volt, Entire White House Fleet to Plug-In
Having a very low tax rate for the wealthy actually does not help the US economy, it actually ends up meaning less revenue for the Government which means that they have to cut programs which leads to the loss of jobs which actually does hurt the US economy. Study the great depression and the things that lead to it and you will see that this is one of the things that indirectly contributed to it. However during a time of a major recession what you do not want to do is turn around and suddenly increase their tax rates to a higher rate which was done during the great depression and made it worse.
Simply put it we need a balanced tax system and it does need to be based off of ability to pay, I think that taxing them at 80% is way too high just as I think that 35% is a bit too low. Id put their rate at the 40-45% rate personally but that is just me. I will agree that the things we are doing today our grand children will have to pay for later down the road which is why we need to turn around and fix things. A free health care system would go a long way to help US businesses except the one business that spends billions of dollars to fight it.... the HMO. We pay 200% more then what the most expensive free health care system in the world on our health care system and a huge 22% of our costs comes from what pretty much amounts to paper work. Our current health care system is very expensive and its hurting many American businesses, I hate to believe that idea that this so called great nation can not do as good of a job on health care then some 50+ nations that have free systems then maybe we seriously need to think about doing something different even if it doesnt mean a free health care system. |

All I can say is what an hopeful says ans does are two diffrent things. When all the promises are actually accounted for, its going to be way out of budget. So I think its best to wait untill they at least start campaigning with their running mates, to see how they stand on things like this. And to be honest I think this is more of an appeal to voters that have a strong connection to the Detroit 3.

Well, considering the fact that Canadians are over there with us, it kinda is his business. And we're all on the same planet, so there's that angle. Freedom of speech is great, even when others say stuff we don't agree with.

It comes in 4x2 only http://www.internationaltrucks.com/p...&vgnextnoice=1 So, no it isn't the exact same truck. It's a good replacement for a delivery esque truck that isn't driven off road or under emergency conditions but certainly not for most all applications of the USFS. |
