No you don't. It would just piss off the unthinking left. Because of the bailout, the unthinking right already hate GM.

So, where's the $529 million gone? A shovel-ready project? No, to an overseas millionaire who doesn't have a clue about mass-producing an automobile.

As Fisker marches to the predictable bankruptcy, I suggest that they attach Al Gore's fortune.

After all he really owns Fisker through his green investment firm. I'm sure that the 3/4 of a $ billion dollars that Obozo gave Fisker, washed through his hands first, while he skimmed off a paltry few hundred million, just for his mis-administrative expenses.

Perhaps we could seize his multi-million dollar, waterfront Condo is San Francisco, that he says will be under 20 feet of water soon, so he doesn't really need it. Or perhaps his yacht, or his private jet.

Don't you just love our selfless, green entrepeneurs?

since their primary source of funding (the DOE) went away, how can they expect to deliver the new car in the yet to be built factory?.. they are stuck with the Karma built in Finland.

Humvees are best suited for military applications, and AM General can handle production on its own. Marketing civilian vehicles under the HUMMER brand was a monumental flop for General Motors. Good riddance to that unfortunate chapter in GM's history.
How about we let the market decide instead of some ferret faced bureaucrat?

Its not just the electric cars that are a massive flop. I keep seeing all the failing solar panel companies, the wind mill makers and wind mill farms.....It just seems like all that happened was, a HUGE amount of federal money was given to all these "Green" companies, they passed it to their CEOs and then went out of business! I'm serious. The Cruze getting 42mpg? THAT is a success. The rest of this Eco BS is just that. BS.

It's a good thing we've got knowledgable people like Newt Gingrich to put an end to this. I just can't WAIT to set up my colony on the MOON...

Hendrik Fisker was a very good designer, but he has always been a poor businessman. He couldn't even make money re-skinning BMW 6 and 7 series cars in the early 2000's. He is obviously a good snake oil salesman who can get investors, but a poor businessman in delivering on what he has sold.

The ex- Aston Martin designers who fail as car business start-up owners seems to be a trend.

They spent the millions cleaning the factory out so we have some extra warehouse space for all of walmarts imports.
We can now replace all those dirty manual labor factory jobs with clean warehouse positions.

Walmart does operate a store (#5436, at 1251 Centerville Rd) adjacent to the Fisker plant, but has no plans for developing additional warehouse space in that vicinity. The nearest Walmart Distribution Center (and the only one in the state of Delaware) is located in Smyrna, approximately 37 miles to the south.
