U.S. light vehicle sales, market share for November

CHICAGO, Dec 3 (Reuters) - The following chart represents U.S. light vehicle sales totals, individual automaker results and
market share for the month of November. Percent changes are based on the daily sales rate.

The seasonally adjusted annual rate is calculated using seasonal
factors supplied by the U.S. Commerce Department....

It seems like for the most part certain brands took the hit this year, but it looks like we might not break 16 million units this year in America.

GMs numbers are not bad considering that they saw a increase in retail sales last month and reduce rental sales.

I wonder what GM will look like when you look at the whole picture of 2007 next year in regards to what retail sales did. Total sales in America is going to be down, no way to recover from a 6.4% drop in only one month alone. Im expecting the last month to be pretty strong for GM as they have a good amount of new cars that are doing well.

Interesting chart... I didn't know that Audi sold in such small numbers in the US! Less than Suzuki and Volvo! It's sad to see that Saab only outsells Jaguar and Isuzu. Porsche even outdoes them! And Porsche is extremely profitable. I thought Mitsibushi would be lower and VW higher. If VW wants to overtake Toyota globally I think they'll need to grab more than 1.4% of the world's largest car market! Mazda is also slightly higher volume than I expected. I like numbers
