Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
The Tundra is now under 15,000 (14,988).
November: 14,998 October: 17,868 September: 19,571 August: 18,919 July: 21,727 I'd say they'll be lucky to move 150,000 next year.

Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
I can't believe people are even buying them (Tundras that is) with all their quality (lack of) issues.

It looks to be a tough market ahead. To be fair and balanced note the Silverado is sharing a similar drop because of the economy. November: 38,122 October: 48,716 September: 52,480 August: 67,486 July: 46,997 |

Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
It blows my mind that anybody would buy a Turdra with all the problems it's having: buckling tailgates, shuddering beds, trannys and torque converters, cams, that piss poor excuse of a dash design etc. This is NOT a real truck and so many consumers don't even use them as such so many probably are not even aware of these issues.

Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
I'm also willing to bet that most consumers don't know anything about Toyota's quality problems outside of those of us who like cars.
And that's the problem. Toyota always somehow manages to skirt responsibility and stop the bleeding. Personally, I can't fathom why anyone would buy a Toyota. They are uninspired and unattractive usually.

Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
I asked a guy at the gas station filling up a newer Tundra if he heard about the tailgate issues. He said he hadn't and he never even dropped the tailgate yet.

Re: Toyota sales up 0.3%
Toyo is not the only manufacturer that suffers from quality issues but, I would rather someone buy a Chevy over the Toyo...
That's just me though...
