And just as you have a right to cheer GM on, poeple have a right to cheer Toyota on if they chose to do so.
Go ahead and cheer.
Just don't complain when you can't find a decent job... or any job for that matter.

I've actually driven a Cressida of that vintage. Let's just say it's no Maxima...

How the hell can you say a company filing for bankruptcy is better than a company that didn't? I've seen blind GM worship before, but this takes the cake. Ford was able to clean house without Uncle Sam making them.

And also, I don't see GM's sales numbers posted anywhere. Have they even reported yet?

You got about six or seven links over there to pick from - and tonite's coverage as well as what was covered this AM.

This kind of stuff will be felt in the sales numbers - soon.

Funny how Google does not pick this up very well isn't it.

I already have a job, thanks for caring though.

And you're absolutely right, Cressida's are no Maximas considering Cressida's have a bigger, more powerful engine with more HP/TQ and were RWD their entire life while Maxima's were FWD after 1984.

I'm the ignorant one? I wasn't the one that dissed on someone else's car and said you can't love cars since you like Toyota. Too bad Cressidas are not the same as Camrys or Avalons like you probably think they are.

What would the members of GMI rather own?

Or Vanshmack's weekend ride?

Votes?

What "nose in the air" attitude? That someone posting issues Toyota had in the past is no different than GM's past mistakes? Yeah, alright. And way to go posting a really crappily modified MX32 Cressida (I don't even like that body-style). Mine is different, clean and stock.

Do you even know what a Cressida is? And how it is born of the same blood as the Supra?

Re: Toyota October 2009 Sales Down 3.5%

Well, back on topic.

Actually better numbers than I expected for them all things considered.

And really more even overall as well.

We'll have to see how all did this month plus the incentives and fleet sales numbers etc to really know - and its real likely that Hyundai / Kia just stole a bunch of would have been Toyota & Honda sales but it could have been worse - don't think it really could have been better.

Actually, yes I do. College dorm neighbor had one 20 years ago. I wasn't impressed with it then, but that's not why I asked, Mr. defensive. I put a "seriously" because I found it incredulous that you might not know what it was. Real, honest question on my part.

Vanshmack has, in my, and just about every other GM fan on this site's opinion, one helluva nice car, and one of the finest Buick ever.

There was only one production Supra worth a damn, and the 84 wasn't it.
