Re: Mazda June sales up 8%
Good news for Mazda. As much as I hate to admit it, the '04 Mazda 3 2.3 S 5 speed my wife drives has been a solid, fun little hatchback. The only issues have been that the fuel pump quit and the stupid cartridge type oil filter that I replaced with a spin on type and an adapter designed for the 2.0 liter engine on the base model 3's. It's got about 80k miles on it now and is fun to drive. The gas mileage isn't Civic-like though, she's averaging about 25-26mpg.

Re: Mazda June sales up 8%
Considering the fact that the Mazda6 is just now being replaced and the Mazda3 dates back to 2004, they must be very pleased with their sales. New product can only serve to help them.

Re: Mazda June sales up 8%
I think the 3 is the best affordible small car out there right now. And the new one is only a year away. GM could learn alot from that car!
