Why ? What does a 2% increase in market share accomplish ?

If GM continues to burn throught $1 billion/month in cash - and I'm sure they're burning through even more than that right now with the current incentives - they're done for...

Lambda Assembly Plant was on strike in April. Dealers may have been running low on inventory because of it.

GM sold 14K G6's vs 13K Malibu's during June !

What is the problem with ramping up the Malibu production ? The Malibu has been in production now for the better part of a year...I know I'm naive, but what is taking so long ???

Didn't the plant that produces the Malibu go on strike for a week or so...probably didn't help getting product to dealers.

Sorry, but a lot of that has to be fleet. STS's are sprouting like weeds at rental lots.

The Astra had sales of nearly 900 vehicles.
This is actually down from May. 1091 were sold that month.

Exactly, what's the problem, why can't GM move these vehicles!! I thought the Astra was a world-wide stellar car that sells well in every territory.

If you or I could figure THAT out, we'd be pulling down a 7 figure salary at GM !

Should have gone with Saturn Corsa to get a greater price disparity with Aura XE.
