Though it is already posted in the other thread but take a look at GM success in the top twenty...

Significant for this month in the top twenty vehicle is that Hyundai is now one of the main players. :huh:

That's because the North American operations of GM didn't design that car. The chinese did. The Lucerne doesn't even look that good or that upscale. The Lucerne looks like an old boat perfect for old timers.

GM is not going to see increases in trucks for much longer now that gas prices have remained high for almost, if not a month now. It's pretty clear that the only reason these trucks are selling well is becasue they are NEW. Once that wears off, GM will be back to a similar position it was in a year ago. I can tell that it is going to wear off sooner than later. Gas is not on GM's side.

Tough times are ahead. A brand new car is not in the cards. My new (to me) 16 year old Accord serves the purpose extremely well. And it's paid off!
