Well, that is bad news overall. However, they definitely do their best to highlight the bright areas. It just makes you wonder where the negative areas were!?!

This is the only headline I pay attention to anymore. It is always the same: Honda and Toyota up. GM down. In the rare occasion GM gets an "up" month, Toyota and Honda are still "up". So in actuality, it doesn't really matter what GM says or how they try to spin it. Toyota and Honda can sell in a good economy. They can also sell in a bad economy. GM can't do either. When the headlines read "GM sales up, Honda and Toyota down", then I'll get excited. By the look of things, we won't be reading that headline until sometime in 2009 when the Volt rolls out (hopefully). That's the only way I see GM taking market share from "the other two". GM could put out their best product ever - which one can argue they are doing right now with some models - and they'd still lose marketshare. |

I guess GM just didn't do bad here in the United States, but also the rest of the North America (mainly Canada). At least we know that India did well for June for GM. What other markets went up for GM in June besides India? China and maybe places like Latin American and Africa?
