This is the engine that is going to keep GM in the running..if not get the crown back from Toyota. Hopefully, NA is coming back online..

Incredible turnaround. I though for sure Daewoo was toast after their North American debacle.

Excellent! I have asked this before, but does anyone know if this is included in GM's total sales (as far as world-wide production)? It should, because GM has really integrated GMDAT into their 'global' system very well!

It would be nice to see the Captiva here. It's different enough from the VUE to be branded as a Chevy or something else, and it has the 7-seat versatility. It would overlap with the 'Nox, though.

Oh, I get it!! At first, I was thinking,... "What engine? Where did they mention a new engine?" Then I realized, you are speaking figuratively about the GMDAT group as an engine!!! I know, I'm a little slow today, I haven't gotten enough sleep recently. Anyway, yes, the GMDAT 'engine' is really turning out to be great asset to GM... GM has quickly and effectively integrated them into the GM empire, and they continue to find new and better ways to contribute to a meaner/leaner GM!!

Re: GM Daewoo's April sales up 31%

Like I keep saying, if NA makes a comeback or at the very least hold it's ground overall, GM as a whole will get some real sales momentum going. Daewoo was a really smart move for GM, that's for sure.

Re: GM Daewoo's April sales up 31%

Anytime we are getting down about the recent GM news, it seems that GMDAT comes out with something to raise our spirits.

I will have to admit I was leery when GM bought Daewoo, but it has definitely paid off. Congrats, GM.
