GM Africa hits record sales numbers
General Motors African Operations sold nearly 111 000 vehicles in the first half of 2008, an increase of 35 percent over the same period in 2007.
The growth was led by a 95 percent increase in Egypt and 82 percent in North and West Africa and the total marked first time GM African Operations had sold more than 100 000 vehicles in the first six months of a calendar year. http://www.motoring.co.za/index.php?...928&fSetId=381
