Holy shizzle, the F-Series is up! Not too often we see increases in truck sales these days.
Doesn't surprise me one bit. You'd think by now GM would see the profit potential in building the best truck money can buy. I keep thinking of what 'Could' have been if GM used the Tahoe front end and sheet metal design/fenders on the Silverados... What a world class truck that could have been. Very sophisticated!! Ford Owns the road in the midwest as far as trucks go. GM trucks are viewed as a lightweight joke in commercial and construction circles. And this is exactly why I bring it up all the time. I'm rooting for GM but man, they gotta step up to the plate or just step off it.

Nice try...

For even more impact why don't you post the year to date figures also.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the Malibu really has no hybird version to speak of. Take away Fusion hybrid sales (~1000-1500?) and the Malibu actually outsold the new Fusion.

Maybe (actually for SURE) in the Enterprise/Avis/National fleet . . . and the Malibu doesn't have a hybrid for 2010, this year it did have one and it was a FLOP!

I'm going to stop you right here because you are starting to ramble. What I did was look at the sales figures and I compared GM and Ford vehicles. If you want to go into more detail, it is up to YOU to provide additional details as to why these figures should be overlooked. So don't sing it, bring it.

You know what i'm talking about.

Unless you can show fleet vers retail and profit per unit sold, your point is rather weak...

What will you enlighten us with next?

'Tis is the point my dear friend. The Malibu essentially has no hybrid version to speak of which could help draw in customers. The Fusion does have one and if I'm not mistaken around 1500 customers buy it each month. Therefore, if one overlooks hybrid models, the Malibu outsold the Fusion.

I haven't seen a break down of fleet vs retail for these vehicles. If you have such information, feel free to share.

This is what you do...bate and then twist it around.

I haven't the slightest clue as to why you made what is essentially a double post.

So why mention anything if YOU can't prove which vehicle is doing better in REALITY??

I fail to see how posting sales figures of comparable vehicles is bating and twisting. You'll have to make your case on that one.

Don't sing it, bring it. If you have data that refutes that sales figures I posted, share it with the class. So far we've seen about 5 post from you and all of them are attacking me instead of providing data.

Where did I make the claim that I was trying to prove ANYTHING? I simply posted sales figures from September of the year 2009. I'm sorry if this has gotten your pantylooms in a twist.
