Re: VIDEOS: Remembering the Pontiac Fiero...
Always like the last year!
I only watched the last video - funny how they say "all that power" in regards to the top of the line engines in both (approx 140 hp) - shift over to the Cruze thread going on and 140 is underpowered. Granted the Fiero and MR2 probably weigh less, but still funny to hear what 20 years in hp advancements and weight gains have done! |

Re: VIDEOS: Remembering the Pontiac Fiero...
My mom has an '87 base model and it is pretty fun to drive. The 4 banger is pretty torquey and I think one of the videos showed a 0-60 time in like 11.6 seconds, I don't really think that it takes that long but I also didn't clock it...or take it to redline.
Just hit 37,000 miles...maybe I can get a pic or two on here - have to see how dark it is in the garage. |

Re: VIDEOS: Remembering the Pontiac Fiero...
The Fiero looked like a tiny Lotus Esprit to me.
Here is a video of a Fiero that was modified and signed by Carroll Shelby, seen at a car show. Chris |
