Not one of my favorite Motorama cars, but glad to see it survived. I was always fascinated by the 1953 Le Mans show car (now at Frank Corrente's Cadillac Corner in WeHo, CA).

While reading the article on Hemmings, I was sidetracked by another car for sale...1958 Packard for $57,000 (22,000 original miles!). Not real pretty and not a true Packard (last real Packard was 1956). One thing lead to another (that's what I like about the www) and I came across this abomination...

To me, looks more like an attempt at a modern Tucker.

That two-tone color style looks kind of cool.

Always liked the '55 LaS's. Cheeky lil roadster. SO cool it's 'back from the dead'.
I've been following the youtube vids on it, a TON of innovative engineering went into the pair.
Hopefully Bortz will get to the hardtop sedan soon.

Curiosity got the better of me, about those other show-car's they mentioned in the article....

Did GM really create the "4 door coupe" 57 years ago?

I looked them up too. The Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Town Car was the best looking of the bunch.

That's pretty cool that the Chevy is in front of RM Auctions, my cousin works for them...she doesn't even like cars...

Has the 1956 Corvette Impala concept ever been found? Or was it destroyed. I've searched online and couldn't find any info one way or the other. Thought maybe someone on here may have knowledge of it. It's really a tragedy that they destroyed many of the Motorama concept cars.
