Absolutely beautiful cars! The first-gen models were stunning. After the Toronado adopted the old Eldorado body though, I didn't care for it any more. I had to mute the sound on the video though.

Toronado, Eldorado & Riviera (except the 77-78 & 95-99 Riviera) were all E cars...they shared quite a bit bodily...what a GMI detractor today calls a rebadge!

That dealership is now a Mitsubishi/Kia dealer.

Oohhhhhh SWEET!

I may be a Monte Carlo nut/enthusiast, but my goodness ... I LOVE seeing older cars ... no matter who made 'em .

Re: Oldsmobile Toronados at a Oldsmobile dealership in 2000

The Toronado, Eldorado and Riviera should all still be built by General Motors! These were the finest cars produced by GM, each having among the most loyal following of buyers of any manufactured product. Of course, GM failed to upgrade the platforms, and let them fall behind in innovative and stylistic features/technology/appearance. It's too bad, because now, GM customers are not nearly as loyal as those owners, if the current generation of (similar demographic) buyers even consider a GM product. But hey, the new GM cars have more of a "European" package! (HA!)
