Yea, and it gets better than 40 miles per gallon-after a 400 mile trip on a car trailer.

Thanks-The valve covers are the same covers that were used on Baldwin Motion cars. They were polished but my set was a little beat up so I wet sanded them and then painted them wrinkle finish black. I am not a real chrome fan, but it is the cheapest for horsepower gains.

I like those valve covers too......would also go the 'cheap' route as I'm not a big fan of all that bling under the hood

Oh Hell no, I had that happen to me in my 2001 Big Ugly Yellow Pontiac Aztek!
I have to admit I had a lot of fun watching people almost drive off the road when I went by. Which was one reason I bought it. I will never forget one poor guy on I-95 in Virginia, he was so busy staring that he drove off the side of the interstate.

I sure hope he got a good look!

I myself am steering way away from chrome. My brother and dad think I'm crazy because I want everything to look stock under the hood to the untrained eye, save the dual-snorkel ram-air setup and maybe Chevrolet in red on the valve covers.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!

I can't believe the best looking car GM ever built didn't get more mentions, although it did, kinda get some. The '66 Goat.

Especially in that colour.
