My favorite Classic GM!
The 1969 Camaro. The Best looking GM ever made.
Anyone who does not like the looks should be put in a mental hospital.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!
I will stick with the 1969, but I am a truck guy. My favorite is a blazer, and it needs to be orange.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!
Wow, all of thee above, except substitute a C10 for the Blazer then it'd be perfect. And I'd love to have a '69 Camaro, that is one of my dream cars.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!
![]() ![]() These are my favourite Camaro's and quite possibly, my favourite classic GM in factory trim. This one could use a different set of wheels and some other 'little' performance mods but I really like these cars.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!
Thanks for posting the Impala, so I don't have to
I would prefer a convertible with a continental kit though ![]() I would also choose a 1956 Eldorado Brougham, and perhaps the boat-tail Riviera.

Re: My favorite Classic GM!
One vehicle that I never thought got it's full credit was the "76- "79 Cadillac Seville. It was nothing less than a watershed design and influenced almost every auto companies' designs for nearly a decade (Just like the Evoq and CTS).
BRAVADA, I must humbly ask for your help again. Can you find a photo of this car and post it for me? Thanks.

It has to be the '55 Bel Air. No other car comes close.

Thank you so much for this, you're a pal! I have to disagree with your calling it "inconspicuous", though. It became that way after the world copied it, but you can believe me when I say that at the time, it stood out like a spaceship from Jupiter. In my VERY early youth, I worked at a Cadillac dealer when these first came out, and was lucky enough to have owned one (a '76) a few years later. I went along with the mechanics and salespeople on all the training runs around suburban Portland, Oregon. And people would stop, point, and stare. Drivers of other cars nearly caused accidents when we drove by. It was a revealation at the time, and probably the last time GM or Cadillac could sell a car on styling alone. I do like you're addition of the boat-tail Rivieras too.
