The Great GMI Performance Car Photo Hunt

The Great GMI Performance Car Photo Hunt

EldoFan had the idea to try our best to flesh out the lists: HERE (See link for the second list of older cars) with photos for each car. Maybe put them into a sub section of the site at a future time.

Since we already have the Great GMI Performance Car Shoot for original GMI member photos, some of the cars on the list are unlikely to be caught by our own shutterbugs any time soon.

So in EldoFan's words: "after looking through all these lists, why not embark on a "phase II"....in which everyone would try and find pics of some of the said vehicles that don't have them...as I know pics for alot of these models/special editions/limited runs etc. are floating around out there somewhere....."

Think you can find a photo of a 1997 Pontiac Mantapart NATCC Sunfire Touring 4-door *, or a 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva SCX W41? Or if the older cars on the second list are more your bag, a 1974 Impala 454 V8 w/ Spirit of America Package?

If so, would you join the HUNT?

Well, to start it off (I rehost these photos at http://www.imageshack.us just to make sure they stay up, not at the mercy of each individual small site I find them on - and resize them to 800x600):

1986 Grand Prix 2+2 NASCAR Edition AeroCoupe

Awesome - especially the last find! I'll have to edit the list with gems like the Pikes Peak GP, too.

nice cars... i even like this bluish car posted by bob.. A 1974 Impala is quite oldie but still in great shape.

Here is a rare car. A Fitch Sprint Corvair. Not sure of the year.

She's not much on performance but she sure pulls the muscles that make me smile!

Andy

Not my bride, loaned the car out to a nephew for his wedding, the bride's father had no idea he'd get to drive his little girl to the ceremony. She wanted to ride down while sitting on the deck lid, I politely responded.................NO!
