Thumbs up GM100: GMI Members Pictoral Timeline Project

I was thinking it would be neat to see how much of GM's product timeline we could fill in with pictures of our own cars. There are thousands of members on this site, and many of them own at least one GM vehicle.

So the thinking is, we should try to see how many different years of GM cars or trucks members currently own. There's 100 years to fill in, so it's a challenge. And I severely doubt anyone has a 1908 Buick in their driveway right now, so I expect gaps.

We'll try to limit it to one GM product per year, so if you see someone else posted a 1995 Chevy, your 1995 Pontiac shouldn't be posted. Also, if someone posts a 2004 CTS, you don't need to post your 2005 CTS, as there weren't any major changes.

And I know a lot of people have multiple cars, so for the sake of avoiding a monopoly, choose one car and go with it until we really know where the gaps are. Obviously, the newest model years will fill in the quickest, so if you want to participate, do hurry!

Post the Model year, and one shot of the exterior and one of the interior (if you have one)!

Let's see what we can do!

So far, we have the following years covered:

1951, 1955, 1957, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1968, 1970, 1978, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008

Re: GM100: GMI Members Pictoral Timeline Project

i have a suggestion, how about instead of picking the first one, how picking the more rare/special/better vehicle of the same year? example, a 2002 cavalier or a 2002 camaro ss? id rather see the camaro in their (id assume most others would too).

oh, and its funny to see that its all trucks or old classics.

and my entry,
2005 silverado z-71:

2004 monte carlo coming
maybe a 1986 s-10 if i can find a pic....
