Although I've seen tractor-trailer buses (a company in LA tested the "Super-Bus" in the early '80s using a White-Volvo Xpeditor and a custom 5th-wheel bus body), I've never seen anything like that.
Actually, I take it back - I think I drew something like that in 2nd grade - but that's crazy! Are there any being preserved anywhere, or have they all been sent to scrap?

RTS' were what (ultimately) replaced them. Flxible rebuilt them and sold the vast majorirty to NJ Transit.
