Decided that I am going to spend a little money and restore it to its original condition. If anyone has any info on it, please let me know. Thanks!!!

Re: Buick Regal 'Somerset'--How Rare??

torjan, thanks for the links and fantastic pictures! Your car is a beauty. I've never found good photos of the 1984 Somersets. They were my favorite of the series since they were more tasteful than the cream/dark blue 1980 models. My first car was a 1981 Regal Limited and I was always looking for a Somerset model as a replacement. I wish I could find photos of the 1981 & 1982 Somersets besides those in the first post of this thread. Does anyone know if there was a 1983 Somerset?

Wow, I am very impressed by the condition of your car. The interior looks nearly flawless! I know the 1982 Somerset was basically the same on the exterior as the 1980 model, but I've never seen the interior in detail. The 1981 model (see first post) was two tone reddish brown with tan interior/dark brown accents. I've never seen actual photos of that car.

Re: Buick Regal 'Somerset'--How Rare??

I agree, rarely I see Somerset on the road... Be sure to check this one, orangecounty.backpage.com/AutosForSale/_400_1980_buick_regal_limited_somerset_coupe/classifieds/ViewAd?oid=2702079
an owner was selling his somerset, with an original velvet interior with nice car covers though it has no engine/trans installed but still have it.
