1968 Hurst/Olds Vintage Road Test

Unfortunately I can't embed this one, but make the jump to YouTube for a sweet video. Also make sure to check out his channel for more classic road tests.

Fast as hell even on those old tires!

I just hope he's not holding out on us with his DVD venture, he should share all of his videos for free like you!

That's a shame, did they never do one or did you miss that week? I'm surprised they didn't have one for the Aurora either

Those are the exact same rims off the Mr Norms Grand Spaulding Special '68 Dart that was on the cover of Mopar Action 2 years ago.

man that is like a supercar for its day. Think if you had one with modern shocks, springs, roll bars, bushings, wheels, and tires...hell some modern drag radials ought to shave a second off its quarter

I can't believe the 0-60 time they achieved with all of the spin off the line, 500 lb/ft of torque will do that though!

I would imagine the power numbers would at least match the LS6 454, i never could quite figure out how the 455 was down 90 hp to the BBC, as for torque I'm sure its plenty underrated as well.
