Yet another wonderful visit to the local GM service dept!

Wow, I love my town!! I have to admit, the smaller the dealer can sometimes be the best thing in the world. Every time I have gone to my local dealer- Yadkin Valley Chevrolet, they have been absolutely wonderful. Today was no exception. I made an appointment last week for a squeaky passenger seat and to get the chasis lubed. I made it for today at 10. This morning was testing for kindergarten at school so I had to bring the boy there at 8:30. I got out of there at 10! I ran to drop him off and by the time I got to the dealer it was 10:30. I thought I would be there forever because I lost my appointment. Nope, the took her in after about 10 minutes. I went to look at the new trucks and by the time I was done, it was done. 11:30 and I was on the road again!! Not only that, but the service writer told me that they would take care of the chassis lube under warranty! I just love going to them. They take care of me and get me going ASAP everytime.

Love to hear it! One of the reason's we get a bad rap is it's the ones that are po'd who go around posting this and that, or going to the news, etc. When was the last time anyone saw a news segment on how good a dealer was to a customer? Thanks!

Hey guys, do you know how I could email GM to let them know how this dealer is doing? I'd really like to let them know.

Contact GM Customer Service, for Chevy...

And/Or write a letter to the dealer-owner!

Re: Yet another wonderful visit to the local GM service dept!

Wilson County Motors in Lebanon, Tennessee was nothing but professional and courteous from sales to service. I am disappointed that I am leaving due to a move with the Army.

The Buick dealer in Huntsville is also a Jaguar and BMW dealer. Somehow I do not see them becoming a BPG outlet anytime soon. I also hope that I will not be a fourth-class citizen when I go in for service.

Amazing!

You are so excited that a dealership actually performed the service work correctly and on-time (with an appointment), that you post a message on the Internet proclaiming your satisfaction.

Some time ago I attended a work seminar where the presenter felt that we have become so accustomed to poor work and service that when we actually get what we pay for the first time, we become excited or giddy.

Glad to hear your experience went well.

My parts guy and I were just talking about that after a part we had ordered hadnt come in, come to find out the guy we were getting it from dropped the ball. I told him that I wish I had someone I could depend on, it seems like service is terrible everywhere I go, and when it does go right its the exception.

Love Chevy in Cayce opened a quick lube and they've been fantastic, even though I own a Sentra. Plus, they've been great when servicing my wife's Beretta and have stood by their work (replaced an alternator once under warranty on the part).

Might as well comment on here. The dealer where I bought my car, gets to service my car as well, and they are always bang on. They are honest and always do the right job.
