Where are the coin holders in the Fulll Sizers?

One thing that keeps getting to me is why GM did not put in a place to store and organize coins in the new pickups and suvs with the center console and bucket seats. It is easier to have them organized for tool booths or quickly grabing correct change in a drive through or something. Any body know if they plan to implement this a little later?

I liked those black things. They were really useful.

It's called an ashtray! (That's where I put mine in my 800 anyway.)

We used the one in our old Sonoma(03) and kept stuff in the ashtray too.

Our Canyon has neither an ashtray nor a coin holder.

I use both the coin older and the cup holder area on my 99 Tahoe. Sometimes I just dont want to go digging for the right change through the mass of other coins. It is easier if it is organized and out of the way.

Thats because they charge you 60bucks for the ashtray and lighter as part of the "Smokers Group"...some models have it, others dont..if your vehicle doesnt come with it, its a special request you have to make. Just another way to charge the smokers. It is kinda weird tho...forever there was ashtrays, now its a rarity...Japan must have stopped putting them in (or never did really to begin with) and everyone else is following their lead.

Re: Where are the coin holders in the Fulll Sizers?

There's an accessory available for that. It snaps into the front area of center console equipped trucks / SUVs (you know- the big rectangular opening that the cupholder snaps into too). The accessory tray has slots for CD cases, and a changeholder part that fits into it on one side. I have it in my 2007 Avalanche. Works fine.

I'd rather there was some spot inside the center console itself though, like the spot in my 2004 Silverado.

Re: Where are the coin holders in the Fulll Sizers?

On the silverados and sierras though with the "pure truck" interior, there is not space for that add on while keeping the cupholders. I really dont want change in visible sight though. People in my area will break a window if they see a buck sitting on the seat I think they should put in an insert that can be just removed easily for storing bigger things underneath

I have yet to know of a vehicle with a penny holder. Are we supposed to just toss em out the window or put them with the nickles?
