Chevrolet's website sucks.

Really time to think about posting actual pictures of vehicles instead of what you got.

I could be wrong, but the "build it" option causes all kinds of problems. Missing options, etc

Time for a major overhaul.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

And I thought I was the only one experiencing the problems!! I have it happen when I am building the vehicle and it wants me to select a style when there is no appliable style, and then I get an error..bugs the hell out of me..they needs to lose the American Revolution site..get up to speed.

Yes, I know how you feel. Especially the pictures. It is hard to access which ones you want and stuff. It is really annoying.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

The Chevy site should have the same format as the Pontiac and GMC sites. Like said when you build a Chevy on there everything should be ready and it should have actual pics of the colors you choose and the trim level.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

The Chevy site has been this bad since the 2006 Model year adds, before then it worked pretty good.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

I agree, the build a vehicle has to be the most corrupt feature on the site. It never works right, the prices are wrong, and there are always features missing.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

"Build It" has always been messed up for me. It dosent matter what browser I use, IE, Firefox, nothing. The check boxes are never lined up either! GM needs to revamp the Chevy website. A nice thing about it though, it does have the special ed. Z06 info.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

I like Hummer's site..well mainly the "Build" section. Being able to see how the vehicles look when you add and take away differant options is always cool...I guess a few others are like it aswell, Saturn and Pontiac..but Hummer has more accessories that you can tack on during the "build it" process I suppose.

BMW's site does this with trim, color, and wheels. On the interior selection screen it even does it with the interior color and trim. It is very nice.

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

You guys should check out Lincoln's revamped site. On each vehicle's home page you can take a terrific 360 degree spin inside and out of each of the exterior/interior colors. The vehicles are also in an outdoor "real world" type setting, which really gives you an idea of how the car will look. Pretty sweet.
Here's the link to the MKZ:

Re: Chevrolet's website sucks.

I also experience problems and can never build the truck that I want to. So Go to www.chevrolet.com and at the bottom of the opening page click "Contact Us." Scroll down to the third topic and choose "I have experience difficulty with your site." Let them know what is wrong. Maybe if we get enough people to comment about the build it feature, they might upgrade it.

Actually, I just tried it again and it is working perfectly.
