Let's go GM! RELEASE those 08 Malibus sitting in Fairfax! Get them ON the trucks and TO the dealers ASAP! Same with the brochures! Get them to the printer!

I feel sorry for the people who have the malibu's from the two commercials, they must feel like no one notices them!

Yeah, I can't wait until they hit dealerships. It's going to be awesome for GM, and for me to go and check them out. Anyway, that's an really cool picture CrunkedRL.

Re: 2008 Malibu!

I thought a date of November first was announced. Maybe they're waiting for that?

I can barely wait to see one in person. It looks sooooooooo good.

Re: 2008 Malibu!

Looks like a good car, and although I am not in the market (just paid off the '04) I want to take a test drive and put it through it's paces.

The commercials actually feature Oldsmobile Cutlasses.

Yes which I think is a lil' stupid considering Olds is no longer in existence and there are plenty of foreign competitors they could have chosen.

Kind of weird that they are both Olds Cutlasses. Something against Olds? Why not feature the old Malibus or the model before?

Olds is dead, so it is a safe target. I don't think Chevy want to alienate it's own customers, even if they own a plain jane Malibu from 5 years ago.

Re: 2008 Malibu!

The new Malibu is extremely high quality, once they arrive, be sure to consider it for your next sedan.

Yet the 1997-1999 Cutlass was a near carbon copy of the same generation Malibu. Hardly anyone would know the difference.
