4-speed
6-cylinder $33,000 ![]() 4 cars VUE, Aura, Outlook, (?) with 6-speed transmissions 33" of rear seat legroom Aura 4-cyl, 6 speed, 33HWY MPG is the correct answer of course. Too bad it won't be a 6-speed manual transmission. I'm sure they will just tweak the electronics and fuel mapping a bit for the extra 2mpg (2.4/6-speed auto is already rated at 31HWY)

Re: Saturn Website Hints At A Future Product Development
Hmm...the Aura's priced a tad bit more than the Malibu. I wonder if this will draw buyers away from the Malibu to the Aura?
Well, probably not. It's just a 1 MPG difference, isn't it?

I'd buy the Aura, as a single guy. I like both looks, but the Aura seems a little smaller, even if it isn't and a little less "family car-ish." Both are great cars IMO however.

Re: Saturn Website Hints At A Future Product Development
The Saturn Aura 2.4/6 auto and the Chevy Malibu 2.4/6spd auto will both get 33mpg, the highest MPG of any midsized car in its class.
Good little game they are playing, it works for Saturn very well.

If a miracle occurs and they actually make an Alpha based G6, they better not go and give it to every friggin brand. |

Maybe I should take a pic of my BC when I get home and post it. On my current tank of gas (the last few have been close) I am sitting at 33 mpg. And thats with most of the tank with city driving. This is with 3 or 4 stoplights every miles and my commute is about 8 miles. Also I am still hoping for the city fuel economy of a 4 wheel drive Vue with a V6 to be 33 (2 Mode of course) |
