Good commercial and clearly communicates what Buick wants to be and is.

    Meh from me too.

At least there was more colors than just silver.
Just that time again to ignore certain people. I'm certain they will continue to try and instigate and antagonize while throwing up their arms saying they did nothing but are here on a civil basis. Not worth the time seeing how some just seem to know all.

Very soppy, but I think it will hit the intended mark.

I wish I liked Cadillacs recent efforts.

Like it a lot. Of course I am a 40 year old father of a seven year old daughter. Hits some good notes on "what is important."

The most important aspect of this commercial is that they're sure to show that all of the drivers are of baby boomer age and younger. To think that just five years ago, that would be ridiculous to have in a Buick commercial.

Agree. I'm 38 with a 3-year old daughter and this commercial hit the "what is important" to me note, as well.

I say good job with this commercial, GM!

I don't think the cars mesh well with the messaging and/or marketing strategy. If I just listened to the commercial (without looking at the vid) I would've thought it was an advertisement for Chevy---not a good thing considering that Buick has some really hot looking cars and is considered one of the fastest growing "luxury" brands in the U.S. I would've liked to have seen something a lil' more inspiring. Hell even Lincoln thought out of the box over 2 years ago with this commercial for the MKZ which I thought was really nicely done and evokes a message that luxury doesn't have to be boring.

Really? I thought it was the exact opposite. I am in marketing professionally, and even I "tuned out"durring the rambling list the gravelly voice was spouting. The only thing that was memorable and caught my attention was: "...A brand that is growing faster than any other major car company in America". The rest was just blah blah blah, from the wannabe Tim Allen voice (all that was missing was the cheesy piano music from the "Pure Michigan" ads)...

I get the type of ad they were trying to do, but it was not executed well. I know ads, and hardly anybody is going to pay attention to this one, let alone remember it.

That is a great commercial for a specific model. Still prefer the song in German.

I am pretty sure Buick was going for Brand definition versus a "This model kicks-ass" commercial.

Most of the adults in the commercial are more likely part of generation X, rather than baby boomers. I get your point, though. Five years ago we would have seen Tiger Woods at the country club with my grandparents. Not anymore.

Cool commercial and a catchy tune, but how did that work out for Lincoln?
