I'm 21, and for as long as i can remember, I have ALWAYS wanted a Buick. Nothing more, nothing less. For me, they hit that perfect level of just enough luxury touches, but not too much to be ridiculous. And how could you pass up a smooth ride like that?Originally Posted by johnny smallblock
I'm 20 and always loved Buicks had a couple and would love to have another. I just like the ride and comfort and power they gve you

Also, the Lucerne being a full size car, may be more appealing to a younger audience than a mid sized Buick. Think about it, when you roll up in a big black Lucerne, with tinted windows, chrome rims, it makes more of a statement than rolling up in a mid sized Lucerne.
Modded Buicks?
That just dosent sound right. And full sized cars like the town car and Lucerne dont really appeal to me. Out of all the full sized cars, the only ones I like is the Lexus LS, S class, Charger, and 300C.

This could certainly serve to introduce Buick to a younger audience, but I don't exactly expect sales to surge.
LOL, I guess it's too late for me to be posting to GMI. I meant to say mid sized "Lacrosse". Too many cars with "L" though it's not as bad as the Freestyle/Freestar debacle.Originally Posted by Xenon
A few years ago, most people would have said the same thing about Chrysler. Now it's an aftermarket bonanza for Chrysler 300C - which, ironically, you mention as one of your favorites.Originally Posted by Xenon
On that note, I hope the Buick mods doesn't go quite as extreme as the way the 300 has taken. Once it went as far as being ghetto-gangster, the 300's overall appeal pretty much soured for me. I've seen too many butt-ugly mods for this car that bring 70's pimp-mobile Cadillac DeVilles to mind.
Yet dollar-wise, thw whole urban-appeal thing (which I think many aftermarket mod trends have been consistent with) has obviously been great for Chrysler. For instance, now they're pointedly marketing the new Aspen SUV as the hip-hop crowd's new alternative to the Escalade. (By the way, couldn't they have chosen about 100 different resurrected model names that would have been much better than ''Aspen?'' Yhiiick....)

Def. Its the one thing that would make Buick stand out from the rest of the Pipe and Slippers brigade. Nothing better than toasting someone in your sleeper.Originally Posted by Ultra Magnus

I seen a Dark Blue Lucerne CXS today and it looked really good as it passed me. I always like Buicks. My dad had a 94 Regal Custom Sedan with the 3800. That car had 203k miles on it and still pulled awesome.
I think the LaCrosse is a good car but it wasn't that much better than the Regal. I'd take an '04 Regal GS over an '05 LaCrosse CXS. I love that S/C 3800.

Take a look at www.regalgs.org for modded Buicks. There are a bunch one them, not to mention the 80's Grand Nationals/Regals.Originally Posted by Xenon
