Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
The interior is really top-notch by GM's standards and would put the vehicle instantly as a frontrunner in the class in the US, SAVE FOR the awkward gauge cluster.
I personally hoped the classic Buick look from the concept would be retained, with a recessed cavity housing gages, monitors and passenger-side decals. The exterior is a bit worrying, but then again with that much camo is hard to tell... GM should definitely offer it in the US. |

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I like the interior. It's a little different but still a good looking design.
The front 2/3rds of it is looking great. But that drop down on the rear fender doesn't appear to be translating well from concept to production... I think that part might be disappointing.. But a question. Is this even coming to the US? I thought this was for Asian markets. |

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I really don't like the console shifter on the dash.... it's just awkward.
And this is still just another U van? Seriously? Why can't they just put it to rest already.... |

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I don't think anything is on the U platform by this time .
Not a big fan of the rear side window drop. It looks backwards to me.

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I think this would be good for Buick. Could be a good MKT competitor. Though I am NOT a fan of those mini-van style sliding doors.

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
Interesting that you put it in that terms.
I would really hope that the interior is top notch by global standards. GM's standards are too low. That being said, I don't think this is on the U platform, is it?? Isn't it on Theta or Epsilon? It better not be a modified Buick GL8.

The goal really is to have Lexus follow the Buick trends.
The big red dash "kill" button would make an excellent addition to the Lexus interiors in lieu of zip-tied floor mats. |

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I dont think that it's U van based, look at the wipers, they are not head to head like they were on all the U vans, plus some of the other bits of the van dont line up with the old U van.

Re: Production Buick "Business Concept" spied and interior revealed
I think this is nice but I don't really see the point of it. I thought the new "point" of Buick is to take on Lexus, therefore a minivan is a bit irrelevant IMO. They need to give Chevy a Odyssey/Sienna fighter. This is a nice looking van though.
