Come on people, we all know that this brand has no future. This car is pathetic! They could of given us the Astra, but no, we get a rebadged Cruze with a different interior. What happened to each brand having unique vehicles? Thanks GM for killing Pontiac, but giving this wretch of a car!
You're getting this confused with what the G5 would have been. But the G5 will never be, don't worry.

Get the hell over it. Pontiac is dead, and lots of other people aren't happy about it either. If the Astra is oh so great, that must be why the US Auto press basically thought it was so so at best, and oh wait it gets better...THEY AREN'T SELLING!

Looking at the profile of the vehicle alone for more than a second would show you that this clearly is not a rebadge of a Cruze. Get a clue or GTFO and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I totally understand you being ticked off about Pontiac, I liked the brand too (Sunfire GT, Grand Am GT, Bonneville, 72 GTO...I've owned (still own the last 2). However, I am all over this new Buick sedan, if it's priced right. I'm moving on, and making Buick my brand....absolutly love my Enclave, and this new "baby Buick" would look perfect alongside the Enclave.

As for mental health, perhaps you need some...LET GO of Pontiac, go buy a bunch of the left overs, I'm sure there's some still on the dealer's lots, G8's, G6's, perhaps a Solstice or two. Buick has way more future than Pontiac had, eventhough I am just as much a Pontiac enthusiest as you are, I've let go of the shock, and embraced these new offerings from Buick: Enclave (of course I like) LaCrosse (killer design), Regal (lower priced sedan, for those that can't swing the LaCrosse), and now this new entry level Buick. We for one will want to downsize from our Bonneville, maybe even a 4 cyl next time around, we will still have the Enclave for room and power, this little Buick will make a perfect work vehicle for my wife (also will look at the Chevy Malibu, Equinox, GMC Terrain, and the other Buick small crossover, which is supposed to be called Encore.) It will be a hard choice (around 2014 or so..for us). Can't wait to see what else comes out.

GO AWAY! i agree with all the other replies to your posts, and u just need to let it go! Pontiac is gone because it contained a rebadged, Cobalt, Malibu, Equinox, and last but not least an Aveo. It was cooked. Now please stop writing crap on Buick's boards, if you dont have anything nice to say(or at least helpful criticism) then dont say anything at all.

Oh and by the way, it would be a little more helpful for your sake as a "Pontiac Fan" if you even owned a Pontiac. Seems you like Saturn more.

Re: New Buick Delta II (Astra Sedan) pics

As I glanced through the pictures on the new car, the thing that stood out to me the most was the tail lights. the part that was on the top of the light that made it flat but i think it was either chrome or camo, it made the rear end of the car look mean and serious, i like that. And another thing that looked nice was the large headlamp cluster, nice.

Wow, baby Buick is right. That is, IMO, too small for Buick. But I do like the design of it, though.

Looking at that interior... although nice, i still cant see how it looks at all like it should be inside of a Buick... It looks way to sporty for a "premium" brand.
I sure hope this is not the Buick's interior.

The baby Buick needs to be every bit as luxurious on the inside as the Regal and LaCross....just smaller.

I kinda agree with you on the interior! Why is it red-hopefully its just a test interior color.

WAIT, I know it's a rebadge!

thank you GM!

Re: New Buick Delta II (Astra Sedan) pics

GM needs a small car for Buick bad. When Pontiac sells off the last G5s and G6s the Buick GMC dealers will have nothing smaller than a LaCrosse.

Car looks good though!
