Buick never had an equivalent to the Camaro. You may be thinking of Buick's mid-sized muscle car of the mid-60's-early-70's the Gran Sport. The Gran Sport was based on the Buick Skylark which was built on GM's A-body platform which was shared with the Chevelle.
