To me this is even better than the CTS because the Lacrosse can be had loaded almost for the entry price of the CTS. Also the Lacrosse sits better without the rear being kicked up. Plus it has features the CTS doesn't like HUD, power rear shade, push button start not turn, and rear seat entertainment. This is coming from a Cadillac fan I would get the Buick a 1000x first.

Those iPhones take really good pics. I used to think my Razr took decent pics until I saw these.

It's a real sharp car, but it does have some Asian design influence.

I agree. It's a great looking car and I'm sure its a very premium interior but I prefer everything the CTS offers in comparison.

here is a guy that doesnt like tech, and moving forward! now looking out the window is kool when you are driving in a area that is diff or new but the ride to work or school for the kids gets boring

Well, think about it this way: Do you want a loaded LaCrosse or a base CTS? Those are your options. I just priced out a fully loaded CXS model on the Buick website and came in at just over $38,000. Meanwhile, the base model of the CTS starts at around $36,000.

This and the CTS, although are similar in size and pricing, are two very different cars aimed at two very different customers.
One is RWD, the other is FWD. Yes I know that the LaCrosse also comes in AWD but I think we can all assume that the FWD version of the car will be the more popular option.

The two cars offer completely different driving experiences. The CTS appeals more towards serious drivers while the LaCrosse appeals to those looking for a very comfortable, luxurious car that gets them from point A to point B without any problems or hassle.

There is also the snow factor. Most people in the colder climates of North America still base their car buying decisions on which wheels are being powered simply due to worries that RWD doesn't handle that great in the snow. Although, RWD cars today are clearly much better at handling than their predecessors, the perception remains for many in the colder climates and they would much rather pick a FWD or AWD model over a RWD vehicle.

So while you'd prefer the CTS, that's because you like what it offers... that doesn't mean these two cars overlap each other.

rwd cars drive just as good as fwd in the snow if you are a good driver and you know what you are doing! most dont and there for you get the people who feel they need it!

so learn to drive with rwd and then problem solved!

you are right saw and sat in a black one the other day at the dealer ! I could not drive it as they were down loading some computer upgrade . for the key fobs , my daughters BIL is a big wig at the BPG dealership and he always gives me the royal treatment .

Nice car, but does it REALLY stand out in the fwd mid size class enough to gain many sales over the outgoing Lacrosse? I'll give it a 30% advantange.
