Re: GMI's Regal Resource

Welcome back Regal. I think the new Regal looks hot! I am 26 years old and this is one car I will be considering (must be the GS model) next spring/summer, the other two being the CTS coupe and Camaro. I think Buick is effectively back, give us the baby Enclave and small car based on the Astra and I think Buick can lower their demographic considerably. Every Buick model should have a sport trim with the exception of the enclave, although I would consider it for the baby enclave.

My only question why did they use 3.6 for the GS model and not the 2.8L turbo found in the SRX? It would keep with the tech factor of the other two engines.

I think Buick has a bright future!!!

ISN'T THIS WHAT I SAID THEY SHOULD DO?! That's it. GM is listening to me. That's all there is to it.

Look for all production and engineering to return to America and for Holden to be rebadged as Pontiac.

Any idea what the trunk space will be on the Regal? That is my major problem with the LaCrosse.

I don't know, but it couldn't be too hard to reorganize those tree trunk size struts could it?

I think the days of keyed ignitions are numbered industry-wide. Everyone seems to be moving toward having a fob in the driver's pocket that tells the car to un-immobilize the ignition within a certain number of feet from the car.

I was going to say. That's pretty light for a car that's only a little smaller than the LaCrosse.

Why would a young lad like you entertain the idea of purchasing a car that is associated with being the last vehicle you purchase before you die?

Way to let a badge define a product rather than the other way around. New gen GM products are starting to turn things around to the way they should be: The product defining the badge.
