I don't think I would use that app at Newark-Liberty.

I like the commercial. I just wish Cadillac didn't splurge so much on the Olympic advertising that you don't see any new ATS commercials
THe Volt doesn't have a cute commercial for this, but GM directly emailed me as an owner with a PDF brochure on how to maximize EV mileage in cold weather. It included warming up (conditioning) the car (interior plus battery pack) while its plugged in so the battery doesn't do it alone while on the road. Pretty nifty way to reinforce whats in the owner's manual in two or three places.

Undersung new technology.
GM Rocks with this stuff... Keep it out there.
Why are not putting a hybrid powertrain on the Enclave/Acadia/Traverse Trio ?
I still think families love to save gas and that was one power-train expectation i had for 2013 Acadia.
They obviously had no checked baggage! Nice looking vehicle BTW.

You can only remote start with the car locked.
Yup I've done that with my Volt. I was coming back from a concert with a buddy. I live half way between where he lives and the concert. We were heading to his place after so I picked up my car. It was fairly cool out so while on the highway about 15mins out I remote started the car while it was plugged in. Very nice indeed.
Very cool commercial. I too am appreciating the MCE's on these vehicles more and more. That app and it's functionality is pretty useful. Sadly, my Malibu is not compatible with the app's remote start feature. Not sure what was up with the architecture on those first Epsilon cars, can't support navigation, and now, no remote start via Onstar app. Oy!

[/FONT]GM, Then and Now... Before you go and buy a import brand car because of the perception of quality, do a little research and you will find GM has as good or better quality than most of those other brands. It's not cool to hate America people!

No key fob, car will not go on remote start. That is the way most remote starts work. Plus it shuts down after a certain amount of time if you do not use key or have keyfob.
