Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th
This car has me strangely entranced, I'm anticipating this car a lot, reminds me of before the camaro came out. Hopefully it makes it to NY auto show in 2010!

Acura eh? I don't see Acura's signature cow catcher/bird beak grille or Nissans odd shaped lights and new squared off grille. Where are the Nissan and Acura styling themes on the Regal? Oh right... there are none. Nice try.

Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th
I made the picture of the Regal from Facebook my wallpaper at work. My boss, a BMW-driving Yale grad, saw it and couldn't believe it was a Buick. He was impressed. This is what needs to happen across the country. Shock the public. I can't wait until the Regal hits the streets.

Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th
I'm a very young 27 year old with value in mind. Aside from value, I want something thats slightly underdog-ish, with the POTENTIAL to be beastly. Must look good, have a great cost and be pretty reliable.
While I had a nice black GTP, the previous Regal almost fit that bill and I've always loved the name. A lot of people on here have bad feelings towards the name plate, but I'll be honest, most people my age and younger do NOT feel this way for whatever reason. Either they haven't heard of it, or never heard anyone say anything bad about it, or cared enough to form a hateful opinion. With that said, In a couple of years I'll be ready to turn my '08 Aura XR over... Must have stick shift again, and must have V-6 power, in a lightweight Chassis. Oh oh yes wait.. Weight. How much did the Chineese version weigh? |

Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th
Hopefully this car will have a good power train and torque. One of the things I will miss most about pontiac is how torquey they were. Even the four cylinders.
If this car has good engines, is comfortable, and gets good fuel economy (27mpg for the LaCrosse is NOT good), then this could take over some G6 business...
