That'll be interesting to see. Does it look like the Chinese version?

Can't wait for that one, this car should be a sure shot for Buick.

More like the Insignia than the Chinese Regal.

Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th

The photos I've seen suggest that it is very similar to the Chinese Regal except for the front fascia. I think the Insignia and Regal share all of the sheetmetal.

Funny that they can "unveil" it, since the Chinese version has been in dealerships for nearly a year. It's a better looking car in person than in photos. Main thing I wonder about are the engine choices.

Both Epsilon II, four inches shorter in wheelbase than the LaCrosse, and about seven inches shorter in overall length.

Isn't the whole front clip/ facia of the American version essentially the same as is used for the Insignia, with a "Buick" grille fit into the opening? It certainly looks that way to me, since the fog lamp units as you say are also common to them both. The perimeter shape of the Buick grille seems the same as the Opel.

Re: Buick Regal Unveiled on November 12th

GMI was told that GM will start taking orders for the car "in 6 months, so expect a start of production date of sometime in summer 2010."

I guess they'll be in showrooms by summer/fall 2010.
