Re: Buick Debuts two More LaCrosse Commercials

I though the ads were good except for the Lexus gab at the end of the second ad. Seemed kinda lame .

Has anybody seen the Toyota commercials in Canada ? They are the worst commericials ever . Here is a liike to one I could find . There is about 10 different ones like this , that play constantly .

I'm fairly critical of things I don't think are up to par and the current Buick line is pretty impressive to me. It looks as though it's only getting better as well! Who would have thought?

This 1970 GSX 455 disagrees with your claim of oldness and flatulence.

There were more than 2-3 cool Buicks in the past, I owned quite a few pre-1977 models and none of them were uncoo or boring.
But I just don't get what's supposed to be so nice about the LaCrosse. To me, it's just as boring as a 1982 Century...
Maybe I'm just getting too old to appreciate this brand (I'll be 33 in a few months!).

About an AWD LaCrosse with a V8, I'm not sure I'd like that either. This car has a FWD based architecture with the engine and transmission are mounted in the wrong way. Unless GM does what it did back in 1966 and make a true RWD car on a body that was supposed to be FWD (the RWD Buick Riviera that shared it's "E" body with the FWD 1966 Olds Toronado and the FWD 1967 Cadillac Eldorado). Of course, they were made on different chassis and these cars still had body on frame construction which allowed more flexibility for the drivetrains under the same bodies!

Anyone know the tune in the 'Smooth Ride' LaCrosse commercial?
