What is GMAC SmartLease Plus?

Is this a single payment lease? Does it include interest? Thanks!

In an upfront lease, 1 payment lease, the interest is generally reduced but not elliminated.

All leases have interest calculated on the residual values, as well as the lease term.

not familiar with that one. it may be a regional program. i've never heard of it here in the southeast region. sorry. maybe one of the guys from your area can help with that one.

SmartLese Plus is a single payment lease program. It is available in all states and possessions of the US. As compared to a standard lease the total of the payments is less.The single payment which equates to the sum of the payments is made up front.

Thanks for the info Earl and Doh. GMAC's website just says to inquire at your dealer. On average, is the interest savings enough to make a single upfront payment worthwhile?
