It is on the invoice, I know that for a fact.

Wow, nice one. I keep on forgetting about that. But I did do that one time, through the phone not the internet. lol

Re: supplier discount question

Kind of off topic, but was wondering if this is a good deal or not. They "say" they are giving me supplier price. It's for a NBS 07' Crew LT1. MSRP is $36,500 and the Supplier is $33,600. They are also going to give me $1000 in accessories. Do you think I go offer less than the Supplier and then still get the $1000 in accessories?

Re: supplier discount question

I dont kow if you wre selling your house would you give someone 8% off and then still give them all your furniture as well, WOW your a nice guy.....seriously the 3 grand off is pretty good.....the accessories, they prolly have a rebate for, but man you US guys, see in Canada, if you wanta NBS 07 you pay for it, 3.9-4.9% and last 4, I sold were average about 1000 bucks off.....

Re: supplier discount question

You won't get accessories and Supplier discount. Supplier discount is diff than GMS. GMS is the best by far unless you have a gm card. You can only use extended family card with the supplier or GMS.

Thumbs up Re: supplier discount question

Remember, these programs are voluntary on the part of the dealer. We don't honor GSU (supplier) or GMS (employee) on "hot" vehicles. Also, have your authorization number with you for verification as most dealers won't give you the price just because you say you have it. You gotta prove it.

What are you really gaining by hiding it til the end? You'll have a much easier time buying being upfront with your salesperson/manager.

Have fun.

Re: supplier discount question

The FAQ on www.gmsupplierdiscount.com recommends, "Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the GM Supplier Discount during your first contact with your dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer."

You should be able to find a dealer that will honor GSU on any new GM vehicle other than the Corvette Z06 and medium duty trucks (those are specifically excluded).

So, you're suggesting that thomascolo waste the time of two salesmen over the same sale. Then when he does make a deal, the salesman who made the sale will get to split his commission with the one who didn't. Either way, both will be pissed over his vain attempt at working the system. Have some courtesy.
