Re: Our first GM car...

Congrats on the purchase.... I'am considering a HHR as well.. but

I like the styling and space of the HHR however I just find the windows hard to see out of. I'm 6'2'' and I just found it hard to see. Does anyone else with the HHR have this problem?

Congratulations on the new ride. HHR is a head turner and great value.

I'm 6'2" as well, but I don't have any problems seeing out of the back seat windows (or any other windows)

However I do have a minor gripe. I put the drivers seat pretty far back when driving. I don't have to, but I like stretching out. When I do this, the B pillar is right by my shoulder and is quite restrictive. However, it is only a minor grip because the upright seating allows me to move the seat several inches forward and still remain comfortable with a lot more shoulder room.

The car is all dirty right now. We've had nothing but rain in Texas for the last several weeks. However pics are coming

Re: Our first GM car...

Ya, I heard there is some major floods in Texas, hope all is well for you!

I guess I will have to test drive the HHR and give it a chance! Can you tell me something else? On the Cobalt (same as HHR) I had the seat all the way back for comfort however when I went to go sitdown in the back there was like no room for legs behind the drivers seat. Does the HHR have the same problem?

Re: Our first GM car...

Congrats - but here's a question - would you have bought it if you didn't take the EDS job and had to pay 1K more?

Yep. My wife really likes the car. We were going to wait until the 2008 models came out so she could get Victory Red but the $2500 rebate and the new Cappuccino Frost color changed her mind.

Re: Our first GM car...

I like the HHR, but don't like its gas mileage. It should be a lot better
