Order Info

I have a question for you new car salesman. I have a car on order through a Saturn dealer, and I was just wondering when you guys look up info on the order, what can you find out. Things like VIN, expected delivery date, current location, build date or anything else. I am just mostly wondering because I do not really want to bother the salesman I have the order through much more than I already have, but I need to know if my car is expected to be in before the end of this month or not. I dont really believe he is holding any info from me, and does let me know when somthing chages, build date, ship date and such, but nothing on when its expected to come. My plates expire so I would have to renew them if my car is not in by then, and I cannot transfer them over to my new car so it would be wasted money if I do it and I do not need to. Also I am just curious what the VIN is.

Or if anyone has any idea how long it usually takes for a car to be shipped overseas to the dealer. It was shipped out the 10 of December from Belgium (yes its the Astra), but Im sure the holidays slowed it down. He has said it was "Recieved at Port of Entry", but im not sure it that means the boat is at the dock, or if the car is off and through customs and such.

Thanks for any help.
