old invoice spiff?

thinking about a duallie. have "consumer" searched via 'net, and there's alot of them in my region.

I usually order but...

I'd move on one that has been on the ground for awhile to take advantage of the extra di$count...
especially if advertised incentives went up as well.

I like to know where the "old invoice" candidates ahead of time.

My dealer (business manager) is friendly (nieghbors) and will pass along every conceivable discount to me...including a couple of those deal closer "coupons" he usually has in his desk...

how many days invoiced 'till spiff?
how much is it on HD trucks right now?

is there a way for me find out when they were invoiced by VIN myself
to see if they qualify,
as I find the trucks I like without bothering my buddy?

so I can just say "go get this one"?
Thanks

Re: old invoice spiff?

Really no special way to pull up which units--on your own--are "old invoice" ones, i.e. just old. Other than driving to a lot and just looking at the build dates yourself. The other key way is just getting on the dealer system, at a dealer, and either looking at what they have or doing a search of the system for the combo you'd want and look at the Age days for those that are in the right timeframe or greater.

I'm not sure, what, if any "old stock" cash there is right now on Silverados and Sierras, though...
