Car has been built for over a week and the chevy 1800# says it's shipped, other people tell me it's not shipped b/c dealer needs to clear up issues, and the dealer is telling me he's looking into it but doesn't know when it's coming...

Shipping can take some time. My old store could get a vehicle shipped and it would take 2-3 weeks from that date, sometimes it would even arrive at the rail yard and not be released for a week while they muscled it off the train. Its the end of the month, I'm sure the dealer isn't stalling on purpose.

kinda what I was thinking....we are having a hard time with inventory, mostly because after all the sut downs at plants, all the trucking companies have laid off truckers, so now we dont have any inventory cause GM is not building it, and what we got we cant get here cause there is a shortage of trucks... The weird part is, all other cars before and after my VIN are being shipped. I'm sitting at event code 4D and I was told I am on a VC hold... which means dealer financial issues...That's why I am skeptical. Originally Posted by coaster.n3rd

Your camaro is in QC quality control hold most SS models take a long time to be shipped. The last one I had was in it for a month before it was shipped it took 2 weeks to ship after it was released. If the SS has a manual transmission that will hold it up as well. The way I can tell is its built but you cant pull a bars invoice till its shipped you just have to wait. Visit the Camaro5 forums and you will see plenty of others like you in the same boat.
