Is there any site besides the chevrolet one that lets you track your order? It doesn't look like gm connects is working? My order number is QZGQV5 if someone can give me some information on my 2013 Tahoe it would be greatly appreciated.
I actually ordered my first new car thru this dealer. It was a very informal process, but it all went well. I then ordered my next three vehicles from three different dealers. Those were much more formal with lots of docmentation. Those transactions went OK as well. So now I am at my original dealer and a more laid back approach.
I am not sure what to make of the 500 status other than I had read that Dually production had not even started when the strike started. Do you know if that is still the case?
Hopefully this dealer is being straight with me like last time.
If this dealer doesn't come thru as promised,,, I will walk away from the deal.
Hey Linton. Please, can I get a update on Order XFTHJB, 2020 Chevy Silverado HD2500 Diesel. It has been over to the Bed Spray Shop and returned but the dealer said is was 4B00 upon return. When do they go thru Bailment Process. Before or after Spray Shop or both since spray shop is outside vendor.
Hey, Linton is there a possibility of getting the rail car number on Order XFTHJB? The order status shows that the vehicle is currently 4300 Intermediate Delivery. It shipped 11-19-2019. I need to order bed cover and don't want either truck or cover setting around waiting on the other.
Normally when it ships its 4800 4300 is for when they go for outside options like the sprayed in bedliner. You dealer is the only one that can give you a rail car.
Linton, I believe that 4200 is the correct code for order shipped, 4300 is rail transfer from one rail carrier to another, (ie, CXS to BNSF) and 4800 is "Rail Ramp Unload; Vehicle at Rail Road Destination Awaiting Truck Transport To Dealer." My dealer is very cooperative but can not find the "Rail Car" anywhere in the system. Do you think his Zone Office can find out? Or are all those functions now centralized at Headquarters.
As I said in my other email the only time the rail car info can be found is after the code 4800 any thing before that is for the local factory movements and such. The 4200 and 4300 code were added not to long ago with the increase in spray in bed liners and other outside accessories. Once it once it reaches 4800 then your dealer can go to there order tracking system for there inventory and see the rail car number.
• 4200, Shipped (Vehicle has been moved by a carrier to another location or destination. If in combination with a 4300 status code then this is transfer to either a vendor for upfitting or to a distribution yard for final transportation.)
• 4300, Intermediate Delivery (In combination with a 4200 this is saying that the vehicle has been transported to a vendor or to a distribution center.)
