Re: 2009 Chevy Traverse

cant wait to see one on the road...

I was looking at an Acadia on the road the other day- and it had a bike rack on its 2 inch hitch receiver.....

Thats what I want-I find the Traverse to be way better looking than the Acadia...
But- still want to see in person.

It should be at your nearest car dealership sometime in December.

Re: 2009 Chevy Traverse

Chevy has updated their Traverse mini-site. No new photos but the navigation is different and full pricing specs are there. $39,810 (FWD) and $41,810 (AWD) for the LTZ models. I know they're pretty loaded but OUCH!!! That's the downside with most three row crossovers or even minivans. They are ideal for families but once you add the options that make them so family/kid friendly (leather, DVD players), the prices jump to the high $30,000 range very quickly, making them a non-option for many.

Re: 2009 Chevy Traverse

man... more expensive than I thought....
BUT.... chances are that Id order the vehicle- since many times the dealer ordered ones have fancy stuff.
Theres quite a few things Id want to pay for--- and others that Im not interested in... (DVD players, sunroof, etc etc)....

Re: 2009 Chevy Traverse

Just looked at the Traverse pricing on the website. Must not be a complete list of options, because it shows Remote Start optional on the 2LT and LTZ, but that option is not on the price list. Anyway, my 09 Enclave with driver conf. pkg, which is the remote start, heated washer fluid, rear parking assist, and rear camera, is a $970 option. Mine stickered at $35,840....but with the Traverse needing the 2LT pkg, that's $34 something without the remote start "package" or whatever that costs alone, so I don't see any savings with the Chevy if it's packaged like the Buick. Also, no mention of power tailgate on the Traverse???? But, the Chevy is still a value if you don't care of all those options, it can be had for $28,990 for the LS. I'm still thinking the Chevy should be cheaper with the same options as the Buick, but it's not the case, it looks like. So......I'll take the Enclave, more standard features, a little better looking (opinion), better warranty, quite tuning, etc.

Re: 2009 Chevy Traverse

Just checked our Traverse orders - we have five in the pipeline. No TPW's yet, but 2 out of the 5 at event code 3400, the other 3 are at 3000.
