Re: 07 GM "clearance" incentives suck!

I have been looking at getting a new Sierra and one of the internet sales guy told me to wait until next week. He said it looks like more incentives are on their way for trucks. He didn't know all the details yet though. So...I'm crossing my fingers for 0% and some cash back!

I think you're right. I have to admit, those are some damn nice looking trucks (the Sierra) Its really going to get hard for me to hold out for the Camaro. If they had any sizable incentives on the Enclave, Outlook, or Acadia (especially the Acadia) It would be all over for me. Fortunately the Lambda's are selling well and almost incentive free.

Re: 07 GM "clearance" incentives suck!

GM finally came out with 0% for 60 months on the 2007 Tahoes (at least here in California). Have been waiting on the sidelines patiently for months...and finally pulled the trigger today. Not sure if GM is extending the promotion..originally said it was good until 10/1/2007. Believe I got a decent deal...got the Tahoe Z71 at invoice, plus 0% for 60 months....probably got a bit screwed on the trade-in, but that's life! Overall happy with the deal...paperwork is all done...pick it up from the dealer tomorrow.

And the kicker was that I was able to get a $500.00 rebate plus $350.00 under MSRP (which is almost as much as I would have gotten off the Aveo with my supplier discount) plus 4.9% to 60 months.

Aveo?? No rebate, less standard safety features, smaller car, and 5.9 % to 60 months.
Versas are nice. Post some pics (of the car) if she lets you.

Re: 07 GM "clearance" incentives suck!

What happened to "Truck" month? Man, I had multiple dealers tell me to wait until Oct to get my 07' Sierra Crew. They all said that "if you can wait a week, you won't lose any money...might actually get more." Well, I waited...and now am very sorry I did. Can't afford the truck anymore that I was going to get. I actually went shopping last night at other trucks...you know, the "other" guys. Does anyone know if there are hidden incentives out there or if they might get better soon?
